Description

PROBUS Clubs were formed to bring together retired or semi-retired PROfessional and BUSiness men who appreciate and value opportunities to meet others in similar circumstances and of a similar level of interest. Currently there are over 1500 such clubs in the UK.

The Kyrle PROBUS Club was formed in 1982. It holds regular meetings in Ross on the first and third Thursday of each month. They start informally at 10.00 am with a cup of coffee and catching up with friends before the meeting proper at 10.30 am. This starts with a little club business – usually an update of club activities - followed by a 45 minute talk, either by a member or a guest speaker – the range of topics is huge, but always interesting ! The meetings end with informal drinks at the bar.

The Club organizes a wide range of social events throughout the year which are also open to wives and partners.
