Welcome to the Herefordshire Health and Safety Group. The group was formed in 1968 and since then we have strived to support and offer free advice, information and support to companies and individuals who may have an interest in health, safety and environmental issues. Our seminars cover a wide range of subjects that are only available to our members. Here you will find a relaxed, comfortable environment but above all the opportunity to gain knowledge from a wide range of experts in every field of health and safety.

We encourage the sharing of information where our committee members are always on hand to introduce new members and also to assist in any means to ensure everyone benefits from the days event.We hope you find this website of interest and look forward to seeing you at a seminar soon!

The Herefordshire Health and Safety Group is a voluntary, nonprofit making association of member organisations within Herefordshire; promoting health and safety initiatives, awareness and aims to raise health and safety standards within those organisations.


The benefits of becoming a member are numerous and here are but a few examples:

1) A source of information, resources and knowledge in all aspects related to health, safety, welfare and environmental fields

2) Members who also belong to the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) may claim 2 CPD points for each meeting attended.

3) Access to seminars featuring a presentation by a Health & Safety Professional upon topical Health, Safety and Environment issues of the day.

4) Members include those from the manufacturing, commerce, construction, utilities, retail, services and public authorities sectors

5) Free, impartial advice on training and other services both local and national

6) If you have an interest in health and safety or environmental issues, or you just want to be kept in touch with developments so that you make the right business decisions, there's plenty in the HHSG that will be of benefit to you.


Membership costs just £30 per annum and as you can see for such a small outlay the rewards could be unlimited.
