Description
The WEA is an independent national body, grant-aided by the Learning & Skills council and by Local Authorities. It is a voluntary movement run by its own students through branch and district committees. There are branches in Hereford, Ross, Leominster and Ewyas Harold. The courses for adults cover a variety of topics, expert tutors set out each course and guide discussion. Courses are held during the autumn and spring terms, and a booklet listing all these is available in all public libraries.
