Description

Campaigning on behalf of disabled/elderly people to secure better access, facilities and recognition of needs of this section of society. Promoting awareness of Disability Discrimination Act 1995, working with the DRC, government depts, agencies, local authorities, MP's and Councillors. Partners in Hereford shopmobility scheme (HAA own, provide, maintain and insure all vehicles at the centre).

Also promote better access to buildings and facilities for disabled people, meetings take place at 1.30pm on the second Thursday of each month at the Canal Road Day Centre, Canal Road, Hereford HR1 2EA. Volunteers always needed.
