Society of Ley Hunters

Contact Details

Description

The Society of Ley Hunters continued from where "The Ley Hunter" magazine, discontinued in 1999, left off, SOLH keeps alive the serious study of the Hypothesis of Leys, or Ley lines, in the landscape existing, or having existed, in Britain and in many foreign countries. The Ley Hypothesis suggests that ancient sites were often set deliberately in completely straight alignment with each other. Differing theories have been put forward to explain meanings and purposes of such straight alignments, ranging from practical to esoteric. SOLH considers all points of view as a "Broad church" and provides a forum for exchange of ideas, with regular Newsletters and Twice-Yearly meetings, at present.
