Le Cercle Francais De Hereford

Contact Details

Aimed at French speakers and anyone with a love of France and its culture, Le Cercle Francais de Hereford holds monthly meetings at De Koffie Pot, Bridge Street, Hereford running from September till May. Each meeting normally consists of a talk by a native French speaker or a lecturer from the Alliance Francaise approved list, followed by a question and answer session. We meet there from 7.00 pm onwards (look for the French flag!) and the talk begins upstairs in the Gallery at 8.00 pm, lasting 60-90 minutes. Subjects covered range from the light-hearted to the more serious in an effort to accommodate all tastes. Proficiency in spoken French is not necessary, but the ability to understand the language is obviously important in order to get the most out of the talks. All are welcome to come and try out a session at 4.00 per time. The annual subscription is 25. Sixth-formers are normally free of charge. Please see our web-site for details of our current programme.
