Description

We offer support for children, young people and families when someone close dies. We do this through group workshops, social activities and 1:1s. We create spaces for young people and children to meet for support and social events. We understand the difficulties faced by children and young people and will build on your strengths and abilities to help you cope more easily. We will support you as you explore the emotions surrounding grief and loss and offer encouragement to help you face your future with hope, remembering the life of the person you love. We offer advice, guidance and training for professionals to raise awareness of bereavement and related issues. We equip health professionals, teachers and others with skills and knowledge to support bereaved families and understand the experience of bereavement.

We work with many families where death is sudden - through suicide, road traffic accident or illness - and with organisations supporting families when death is anticipated.
