CREATING AND MANAGING FOREST HABITATS FOR ALL TO ENJOY
Our mission is to create and manage recreational and functional forest
First Steps:
To engage local people, business and other organisations in the management of the Townsend Way Community Woodland establised by Malvern Hills Conservators
To develop a Forest Centre for education and learning.
To purchase land to create forest habitats; linking sites within Malvern intitially and then throughout the surrounding parishes, helping to recreate what was the Malvern Chase Forest.

Activities : : Our members can get involved with a number of practical woodland tasks during the year. They include coppicing, tree work, brash clearance, hedgelaying, tree planting, footpath construction, signposting, wildlife monitoring and habitat improvement projects such as constructing and siting bird boxes
We also organise walks and indoor talks about woodlands, wildlife and other areas of interest.
